Busy Busy

So I got a part time job at Pizza Uno in the Taipan outlet.
I only work weekends though.
Would die if I worked weekdays and weekends.
These few weeks have been hectic, especially the week after I got back from Cheng Du and Bangkok. It's been presentations and assignments all week!
Worst still, I just found out my semester break is only a week long! What kinda break is that!?
Some people get a 3 month lay off..but I get a measly 1 week?! Whats that about?!
Anyways..last weekend was my first with Pizza Uno and I'd say it was alright.
Kinda told myself not to work at a F&B outlet after The Manhattan Fish Market but here I am..back in that line again. It's not that I hate the job, it's just that after working your butt off for a 'not so appreciative' manager and only get paid RM4.50 an hour..you tend to wonder if you made a mistake. Before Pizza Uno, I was actually looking around for those day jobs where you promote stuff, help out in an event, hand out flyer's and stuff like that, something like the Nickelodeon job I did last year. Anybody needs a Mascot? CALL ME!
But those jobs aren't easy to get if you're not a girl. *Gives a sarcastic-I-wonder-why look*
I shall not press on the subject further...do not want to be clobbered by the female species.
So yea..it's been a busy month and getting a part time job played no part in reducing my eye bags. Way to go dumbass..
By the way..please forgive my spelling and grammar mistakes in my Cheng Du and Bangkok post, it was written with heavy eye lids. Thank you Joni for pointing out my mistakes *stick-out-tongue*

Cheng Du & Bangkok

So I finally found time to blog.
Had a good time in Cheng Du and Bangkok but once I got home..it's back to reality!
A reality that includes dangerously near as
signment deadlines , nerve wrecking presentations and reports to hand up.
Anyways, back to the trip.

As I've mentioned in my earlier post, the trip was part of my course and classmates and me organized the trip..How cool is that!?
We left on the 6th of March which was last two Mondays ago, our f
light was at 7.50am which meant we had to be at the airport at 5.50am to check in.
If you know me well enough, I'm not much of a morning person and it takes more than an earthquake to wake me up!
I'm serious! The last time there was an earthquake in Malaysia and the big ass Tsunami hit, I was up in Cameron's with family. My uncle woke with his bed shaking that morning...me? I slept through it! I didn't even know there was an earthquake till he asked me if I felt anything. So yea..when I'm aslee
p..I'm dead to the world. *a really noisy alarm clock would be good*..*hint hint*.
Ok back to the trip..again, I ended up not sleeping to avoid missing
the trip. So I did my last minute packing, watched some TV, had an early breakfast and waited for Mr Wang to pick Clarise and Hsien Loong up from college. Mr Wang is this cool taxi driver dude who's very reliable and charges very reasonable.
Well...I got in the cab...got to the airport in time..che
cked in luggage...hung around till departure time...got on the plane..fell asleep till Bangkok airport for transit..hoped into the other plane and we were off to Chengdu!
We arrived in Chengdu at around 2pm and once we got outa the a
irport we were off to some tourist destinations and temple's, we only checked into the hotel at 9pm..so yea, it was pretty hectic.
First of all, food in Chengdu does not taste so good and it's soooo
oily but the beer there is surprisingly good and cheap! And I love the weather.
Other than visiting alot of places, seeing Panda's and goin up Mount E-Mei, we didn't do much.
After four days in Chengdu..we left for Bangkok and thats where all the shopping and fun really began!
The temperature in Chengdu was at most 8-10
°C..but in Bangkok, it was 26-29°C..good thing none of us fell sick.
In Bangkok we visited the Chao P
hraya River, some Gem Factory and Leather shop (pretty boring stuff), then we went to Chathuchak Market(madness) for some serious shopping. The girls went mad! I could only take 3 hours of hot stuffy shopping (not to mention I got lost for 2 hours) but the girls, they were there till the shops closed at 6pm and whats more..it wasn't enough for some of them and they headed to MBK which I just found out stands for Mabhoonkraung to do more shopping!!
At night..some went for the famous Thai Massage, Thai Girls and Thai Men Shows..but me..I went clubbing.
During the two days I was at Bangkok, I met
up with Joni who studies there, so yea..she kinda became my tour guide, which was great! She can speak Thai and all so she did some of my bargaining for me and it was great hanging out with her!
We left Bangkok on the 11th, which was too soon for us..but at the same time, some of them couldn't wait to go back home.
Left Bangkok..reach KLIA at 10.30pm..went to duty free shops to buy stuff..cut class next day.
This post is starting to sound like my Post-Tour Report so
that's enough words..here are the PICTURES
