Someone Please Shoot Me

Clarise

  • Mum of the class

  • Great Leader

  • Study hard...Play harder!!

  • Don't mess with her when she's mad/serious/you haven't finished your work for group assignment

  • Nice person

  • Uses 100% of her brain (I think us normal ppl use 10%)

  • Has a scary stare, don't do your work and you get the STARE

So it's 5.08am, where am I? What am I doing?
I'm at Clarise's place finishing up my stupid assignment!!
We're working our butt off for a measly 5%!! 'Why bother then?' you may ask..
I could give you a few good reasons..I'm a good student, I care bout my studies and Clarise wants it done perfectly. Alright...it's more of Clarise wants it done.
Glad she's pushing us to do it though..or else I'd be snuggled up in bed at home snoring like there's no tomorrow then regretting I didn't complete this assignment when my final results come out. So..3 cheers to Clarise and 50 yawns for me. This assignment is due at 9am by the way..
I'm only blogging cause I already finished my part...FINALLY!
Before I forget...I wanna say this...I HATE WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER!!
My job was to put together all the photos from the Bangkok & Chengdu trip and make it into slides/movie with music and captions. Sounds easy enough right? HELL NO!
I had to re-do it 4 blardy times!
Every time when I'm almost done, it hangs! Then I'd go CLARISE!! The %%^%* is doing it again!!
And it's not like I started it late..I started last week with 4 different computers!
Well..I finally got it done, and I think I found the glitch..the pic files were too big. So I had to edit all the pics and re-do..praying that it would be the final time.
Enough complaining..
I had an interesting weekend..why?
Let's see..I made my very own Roti Canai (and ate it!), ran up the crazy ass Batu Caves stairs, went on The Eye On Malaysia and Ran around KL under the scorching hot sun. Reason can't be revealed yet..but will tell in due time.
Oh crap Clarise is calling...

Clarise: 'Come let's go and see if 7 Eleven got folder so we can compile our documents'
Jon: *sigh* ' Coming mum'

Boo..I'm Clarise! Fear me!!

Busy Busy

So I got a part time job at Pizza Uno in the Taipan outlet.
I only work weekends though.
Would die if I worked weekdays and weekends.
These few weeks have been hectic, especially the week after I got back from Cheng Du and Bangkok. It's been presentations and assignments all week!
Worst still, I just found out my semester break is only a week long! What kinda break is that!?
Some people get a 3 month lay off..but I get a measly 1 week?! Whats that about?!
Anyways..last weekend was my first with Pizza Uno and I'd say it was alright.
Kinda told myself not to work at a F&B outlet after The Manhattan Fish Market but here I am..back in that line again. It's not that I hate the job, it's just that after working your butt off for a 'not so appreciative' manager and only get paid RM4.50 an hour..you tend to wonder if you made a mistake. Before Pizza Uno, I was actually looking around for those day jobs where you promote stuff, help out in an event, hand out flyer's and stuff like that, something like the Nickelodeon job I did last year. Anybody needs a Mascot? CALL ME!
But those jobs aren't easy to get if you're not a girl. *Gives a sarcastic-I-wonder-why look*
I shall not press on the subject further...do not want to be clobbered by the female species.
So yea..it's been a busy month and getting a part time job played no part in reducing my eye bags. Way to go dumbass..
By the way..please forgive my spelling and grammar mistakes in my Cheng Du and Bangkok post, it was written with heavy eye lids. Thank you Joni for pointing out my mistakes *stick-out-tongue*

Cheng Du & Bangkok

So I finally found time to blog.
Had a good time in Cheng Du and Bangkok but once I got home..it's back to reality!
A reality that includes dangerously near as
signment deadlines , nerve wrecking presentations and reports to hand up.
Anyways, back to the trip.

As I've mentioned in my earlier post, the trip was part of my course and classmates and me organized the trip..How cool is that!?
We left on the 6th of March which was last two Mondays ago, our f
light was at 7.50am which meant we had to be at the airport at 5.50am to check in.
If you know me well enough, I'm not much of a morning person and it takes more than an earthquake to wake me up!
I'm serious! The last time there was an earthquake in Malaysia and the big ass Tsunami hit, I was up in Cameron's with family. My uncle woke with his bed shaking that morning...me? I slept through it! I didn't even know there was an earthquake till he asked me if I felt anything. So yea..when I'm aslee
p..I'm dead to the world. *a really noisy alarm clock would be good*..*hint hint*.
Ok back to the trip..again, I ended up not sleeping to avoid missing
the trip. So I did my last minute packing, watched some TV, had an early breakfast and waited for Mr Wang to pick Clarise and Hsien Loong up from college. Mr Wang is this cool taxi driver dude who's very reliable and charges very reasonable.
Well...I got in the cab...got to the airport in time..che
cked in luggage...hung around till departure time...got on the plane..fell asleep till Bangkok airport for transit..hoped into the other plane and we were off to Chengdu!
We arrived in Chengdu at around 2pm and once we got outa the a
irport we were off to some tourist destinations and temple's, we only checked into the hotel at 9pm..so yea, it was pretty hectic.
First of all, food in Chengdu does not taste so good and it's soooo
oily but the beer there is surprisingly good and cheap! And I love the weather.
Other than visiting alot of places, seeing Panda's and goin up Mount E-Mei, we didn't do much.
After four days in Chengdu..we left for Bangkok and thats where all the shopping and fun really began!
The temperature in Chengdu was at most 8-10
°C..but in Bangkok, it was 26-29°C..good thing none of us fell sick.
In Bangkok we visited the Chao P
hraya River, some Gem Factory and Leather shop (pretty boring stuff), then we went to Chathuchak Market(madness) for some serious shopping. The girls went mad! I could only take 3 hours of hot stuffy shopping (not to mention I got lost for 2 hours) but the girls, they were there till the shops closed at 6pm and whats more..it wasn't enough for some of them and they headed to MBK which I just found out stands for Mabhoonkraung to do more shopping!!
At night..some went for the famous Thai Massage, Thai Girls and Thai Men Shows..but me..I went clubbing.
During the two days I was at Bangkok, I met
up with Joni who studies there, so yea..she kinda became my tour guide, which was great! She can speak Thai and all so she did some of my bargaining for me and it was great hanging out with her!
We left Bangkok on the 11th, which was too soon for us..but at the same time, some of them couldn't wait to go back home.
Left Bangkok..reach KLIA at 10.30pm..went to duty free shops to buy stuff..cut class next day.
This post is starting to sound like my Post-Tour Report so
that's enough words..here are the PICTURES

Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea?

So in my last post I forgot to add that in November 2006, I momentarily became Sponge Bob Square Pants.......yeap, you read right, I was that yellow dude that lives in a pineapple under the sea. See, my friend Josh used to work at an events company that deals with.....bla bla bla, story cut short..he got us a day job as mascot's with Nickelodean. Now i've got something to tell my grand kids when im all loose skined and toothless. The pay was pretty good and all we had to do was act dumb...without actualy embarassing ourselves in front of the ladies. We even came out on Tv and Newspapers..so if you were one of those people ooogling at the hot and sexy Sponge Bob you saw on Tv or the papers...you were actualy ooogling at ME, how cool is that? Anyways..here's proof..

Whoops

Ok..so I haven't been updating my blog and my first and only post is dated way back when I was still 20 years young..well booo hooo..here's why, I FORGOT MY PASSWORD!! and didn't bother cracking my head to remember. I still haven't figured out the password, curious how Im able to update my blog? Ask me if you wana know.

Alot has happened since my last post. The last few months of 2006 has it's highs and lows but I had a smashing time nevertheless.

Stuff that happened:
- Made a new friend in Joanna Lynne in October
- Had my first car accident
- Organised a successful trip to Pangkor Island during November
- Marcus the best friend and Ada, Justin's GF came back from Down Under for hols
- Happy Birthday to me and Christmas in December
- A highly interesting New Year count down
- Made it into the new semester without failing any subjects in January
- Ada bought Justin 21 presents for his 21st Birthday!
- Chinese New Year & Marcus finally got a GF who he actualy adores in Feb

This is Joni. She's very random, nice, super talented and....go read

My classmates and I had to organise a trip to Pangkor Island. It was a 'Practical Exam' for one of our subjects..cool eh. That went pretty well I must say, our customer target was 60 pax but we, being hardworking top class students(yes, I know self praise is no praise) managed to set a record of pulling in 90 customers! and yes it was a headache keeping everyone happy. But we managed.

The best friend of God knows how long came back from Australia and recently got himself a special friend of the opposite sex. Good on ya mate, it's about time.

My 20th birthday was....interesting as I was in Penang working at my uncle's cafe and at the same time, made some new friends there. I also found out that Penang actualy does have night life. See...back then when my parents would take my siblings and me back to Penang for the hols (both my parents are from Penang) all we did was 'oooh Penang food so nice, ahhh Penang got more motorcycles than cars'....so blame me not when I started to say NO to following them back to Penang once I got older and became a tiny bit more 'happening'. I mean Come on! after awhile the 'oooh's and ahhh's' tend to sound pretty fake and there was nothing to do there except eat! Anyways...due to certain events, I rather like Penang again. =)

Christmas was spent back in KL with family like every other year, and like every other year..I stuffed myself with turkey and cranberry sauce..yumm. Turkey being available all year round would be a dream come true. So yea, That was Christmas

Then came that time of the year where everybody counted backwards and go oooh ahhh at fireworks afterwards. New Year's Eve was spent at Daryl's house with the gang. There were fireworks alrite! By the way..it's dangerous to play with fireworks.

January came and education beckoned my rusty brain back to College. I've got 7 SUBJECTS this sem! My timetable is packed with possible 'nod off' subjects! But hey..this sem my classmates and I are organising a trip to China & Bangkok. Again this is part of our subject.

Ada got back from Australia about the same time Marcus did. Justin and Ada have been dating for awhile now, sorry can't remember how long..I just know it's a long time, and yes..ADA BOUGHT JUSTIN 21 PRESENTS FOR HIS 21ST BIRTHDAY! and also planned a surprise pre-birthday party for him at TGI Fridays which was all paid by her! Yeap..Justin's one lucky bastard! *3 Cheers for Ada* and may there be more Ada's in the world. Ada recently went back to Australia, poor thing's feeling homesick already.

Then came Chinese New Year..the month where un-married people earn money just by wishing 'Gong Hei Fatt Choy', well..that's how I see it. Strangely this CNY has been a wet one, been raining cats and dogs every evening. Getting a few packets of red heavy packs every month would also be a dream come true. So yea, that was Chinese New Year..come and gone just like Christmas.

I think I just about made up for all these overdue post. Now the question is...will there be readers?..hmmm...maybe I should have stuck to my 'I forgot my password' excuse.

Hello World

So I'v finally decided to post a post on my 'New' blog. I'v actualy had this blog created for about 2-3 weeks now, why start bloggin after so long? why create it and not post a single post? u might ask.Well..because i was just plain LAZY!! so sue me..haha. Not knowing what to write about was another reason, being out all the time was another reason, keeping myself occupied by staring at the wall was also another reason. Guess i'v finally ran out of wall to stare at..so here I am..blogging!!

Well, here's some stuff bout myself..I live in a little place called Subang Jaya with my parents and siblings..not rich enough to own my own crib yet...darn it!! But hey..homecooked food almost everyday and you dont see money flying outa your pocket too often. Have a bunch of crazy ass friends that I am grateful for. Am currently at SYUC doing my Events Management Diploma. I love sports, the outdoors, reading, cooking and....go read my 'About Me' space..hee hee. Im generally a nice person and usually don't get mad easily. I guess that sums it up for now..cause the more I post the more u'l learn bout me. I wonder if all the other bloggers first posts are as crappy as mine..hmmm..maybe I should have gone to check before writing mine..OH...MAN UTD WON AGAIN!! WOOHOOO..
